Album Produced with a Star-Studded Lineup Reflecting High Expectations for the Band

Daughter was formed in London in 2010, centered around the sole female vocalist, Elena Tonra. Their live performance at "SXSW (South by Southwest)", a music festival in Texas, USA, held last March to discover new artists, became a hot topic. They also appeared on the popular American TV show "David Letterman" before signing with a label, attracting significant attention. Now, they have signed with the prestigious British label 4AD, which has brought global success to artists like St. Vincent and Grimes. Their debut album "If You Leave" is set for release.








In addition to member Igor, the production for this work was handled by Roddy Macdonal, who also worked with Adele and The xx. Ken Thomas, who mixed for Sigur Rós and M83, and Jeff Peszek, who mastered tracks for Coldplay and Blur, were involved in the mastering, creating a luxurious lineup that reflects the high expectations for Daughter.

Their melancholic sound, reminiscent of The xx and Warpaint, has already captivated many music fans. With their appearance at Fuji Rock this summer also confirmed, their future activities are not to be missed!
