Unrivaled Expressiveness and Shapeshifting Vocals Create a Diverse World
Dimmy Cat captivates with her sexy style and her ability to craft ever-changing worlds. Her first album, “Pin Me Up” (2009), which fused jazz with electro beats, garnered global attention for its seductive charm and vocals. The single “GLAM” became a massive hit, frequently played at new burlesque shows and electro swing parties.
Now comes her highly anticipated second album and Japanese debut, “Zig Zag.” She swings with pop exuberance, transforms into a sultry siren over slow beats, and even adopts a kitschy tone with acoustic rhythms, showcasing her boundless expressiveness and commanding presence.
“Ping Pong,” the second track on the album
The Japanese edition includes an electro swing remix of the globally acclaimed “GLAM,” along with three bonus tracks, further enhancing its diverse soundscape. This album is a perfect showcase for the allure of the artist known as the “Songstress of the Burlesque World.”
