Andy Stott

A Night Exploring the Expansive World of Electronic Music

Andy Stott will perform in Japan for the first time in approximately two and a half years, and for the first time solo in three and a half years. Asusu, known as a core member of Livity Sound, will join as a DJ. It promises to be a night to fully immerse oneself in the realms of club and electronic music.

DJ Asusu Also Joins

A Japan tour has been confirmed for Andy Stott, a flagship artist of the Manchester-based UK label Modern Love.

This marks his first visit in approximately two and a half years. His previous visit was as part of the duo "Millie & Andrea" with his close friend Miles from Demdike Stare, making this his first solo performance in Japan in effectively three and a half years.

He is a unique artist who expands the possibilities of minimal and dub techno while delving into industrial and drone sounds. With his overwhelming quality and high-potential bass music, he has garnered fans beyond the boundaries of club music.

His 2012 release "Luxury Problems" received widespread acclaim, and the follow-up 2014 album "Faith In Strangers" was selected as Resident Advisor's top album of the year, increasing his global fanbase.

Furthermore, Asusu, known as a core member of Livity Sound—a Bristol, UK-based label that emerged with the rise of dubstep—will participate as a DJ.

The lineup also includes a live set by Ultrafog, a musician known for releases on emerging labels like Solitude Solutions and angoisse, and Romy Mats, the resident DJ of the party "Kaitai Shinsho," which has featured rising artists such as Asusu, Bartellow, Imre Kiss, and S Olbricht. This promises to be a night that covers the spectrum of electronic music with such a compelling roster.
