FPM's first original album in three years and two months, "Scale"
The original album "Scale," the first in three years and two months from internationally acclaimed DJ Tomoyuki Tanaka, also known as FPM, has been completed. It features solitary dance tracks that only he could create.

Includes many tracks used in commercials and web content
FPM, Japan's pride in sound curation. His unique musical style, weaving his roots into dance music, has garnered worldwide support, leading to success not only as an artist but also as a DJ and producer. He has DJed in all prefectures of Japan, performed extensively overseas, and is known for remixing renowned artists like Tomoyasu Hotei, Quruli, and Sakanaction. His long-awaited original album has finally arrived.
This album is packed with tracks based on music FPM has previously created for commercials and web content, condensing a multi-layered style and perspective that goes beyond mere DJ music. Notably, "I WAS IN LOVE," featuring Takeshi Hosomi, the acclaimed vocalist of the rock band the HIATUS, is a mellow track created by boldly sampling the original track of 10cc's representative song "I'm not in love."
"DAREMOSHIRANAI," featuring TamaiROY, who holds a unique presence in the Japanese hip-hop scene, is a track that blends tricky, fast-paced rhythms with Tamai's signature sensitive Japanese rap, creating a simultaneous sense of chaos and harmony.
"Scale" refers to size and rules, but also to scales, like those of a fish. The album cover and booklet feature illustrations of scales, unique people, and animals, inspired by the title, drawn by Frédéric Chevalier, an artist who has garnered significant attention in the French graffiti scene over the past few years.
The ultimate sound, where FPM's diverse tones overlap like scales, sublimated into ideal dance tracks. Its varied music allows us to feel his further charm.
