Yeasayer Announces Highly Anticipated Japan Tour This February!

The highly anticipated Japan tour for Yeasayer, the experimental rock trio from Brooklyn, New York, has been confirmed! They will perform at UNIT in Daikanyama on February 12th (Tuesday, holiday), in support of their latest album, 'Fragrant World'.

The Buzzworthy Latest Album 'Fragrant World' Also Released Domestically

Yeasayer is a band where all members function as multi-instrumentalists, vocalists, and songwriters. The sound created by members Chris Keating (Vo/Kb), Anand Wilder (G/Kb), and Ira Wolf Tuton (B) evokes a sense of orientalism while being accompanied by vibrant psychedelia.

Following tours with psychedelic pop band MGMT and opening slots for Beck, their 2007 debut, 'All Hour Cymbals,' was met with widespread acclaim from international media for its artistic and experimental elements, despite its catchy sound and grand scale. In 2010, they released their second album, 'Odd Blood,' whose dazzling electro-pop quickly became a topic of conversation, leading to their first Japan performance at Fuji Rock that same year.

To coincide with their upcoming Japan tour, the domestic release of 'Fragrant World' is set for February 6th (Wednesday). It will include bonus tracks not present on the imported version released last August.
