Brittany Howard's Fiery Vocals Lead the Band

Alabama Shakes debuted in April of this year with their self-produced album, "Boys & Girls." The band, formed in 2009 in Athens, Alabama, consists of four members: lead vocalist Brittany Howard, Heath Fogg, Zac Cockrell, and Steve Johnson.

The rich sound, unusual for a new band, is rooted in soul, blues, and rock. Howard's powerful vocals, often compared to Aretha Franklin and Janis Joplin, add further intensity to their music.

Even before their debut, their diligent live performances garnered attention, earning them a devoted following among celebrities, including Adele, Bon Iver, and Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner. They recently received three nominations for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, including major categories. They have taken the world by storm, dominating festival stages globally.

Now, their long-awaited debut in Japan is finally here. Experience firsthand their vintage-tinged sound, imbued with a nostalgic charm, and Brittany Howard's expansive, emotional vocals that have captivated the world.
