A Stage Combining A Cappella and Choral Singing Not to Be Missed!

VOCES 8 is a leading contemporary a cappella group formed by eight young singers from the UK. With numerous awards to their name, they possess a diverse repertoire ranging from Renaissance polyphony to uniquely arranged jazz and pop. They have earned high acclaim worldwide for their superb performances, sophisticated vocal skills, and tonal quality that maximizes the potential of vocal music.

Their first visit to Japan was in 2011 for La Folle Journée (Festival of "Crazy Days"). It is fondly remembered how they sang Brahms' "Lullaby," arranged for four parts, with the audience, bringing light back to the hearts of the Japanese people who had lost their spirit after the earthquake.




The program for this concert spans from "Away in a Manger" and "Silent Night" to The Beatles' "Twist and Shout" and Sinatra's "Moon River." We invite you to experience their breathtaking stage, where they cover not only classical pieces but also pop and rock with their own unique arrangements.

Formed in 2003 by alumni of Westminster Abbey Choir, they won the Gorizia International Choral Competition in Italy in 2005. Since then, they have actively performed throughout the UK, Europe, America, Africa, and Asia.
