A Collection of Previously Hard-to-Find Tracks

The "Biophilia Remix Series" features tracks from the album "Biophilia" remixed by artists from various genres. Released sequentially every two weeks starting in April 2012, these tracks, pressed in limited quantities of several hundred per series, are now compiled in this work, "Bastards."

Artists gracing the current music scene, such as Omar Souleyman, who masters the Middle Eastern folk dance "Dabke," Death Grips with their ferocious mixture of sounds and punk attitude, and Hudson Mohawke, now a cornerstone of the venerable UK label Warp, have all contributed. These are exquisite remixes that retain Björk's essence while further expanding her world.
We must keep our eyes on Björk's ceaseless evolution.
