'Takahashi Yukihiro 60th Anniversary Live' to be Held at Orchard Hall
Takahashi Yukihiro, who celebrated his 60th birthday on June 6th this year, will be honored at the 'Takahashi Yukihiro 60th Anniversary Live' on Saturday, December 22nd, at Bunkamura Orchard Hall. The event will feature a stellar lineup of artists, including units Takahashi is involved with, as well as musicians like Obara Rei and Yamadoe Keiichi.

Sketch Show Revives for the First Time in Nine Years Since 2003
Takahashi Yukihiro, who turned 60 this year, continues to release commemorative works for his sixtieth birthday. In August, his first-ever career tribute album, 'RED DIAMOND ~Tribute to Yukihiro Takahashi,' was released, featuring 12 artists from Japan and abroad. He alsopublished a new book, 'Music That Touches the Heart, Music That Heals the Heart - My Favorite Songs Guidebook -', his first in 15 years.And to cap off his '60th birthday year,' the 'Takahashi Yukihiro 60th Anniversary Live' will be held.
The lineup of performers is impressive, featuring long-time collaborators from the 1980s such as Steve Jansen, Obara Rei, Tokutake Hirofumi, Dr.kyOn, and Yaguchi Hiroyasu – the very same members who participated in the 'A NIGHT IN THE NEXT LIFE' tour in 1991, a fan favorite. Additionally, followers from his more recent activities, including Cornelius (Yamadoe Keiichi), will also gather.
Furthermore, the participation of units Takahashi is involved in has been announced: 'Sketch Show' with Hosono Haruomi, 'THE BEATNIKS' with Suzuki Keiichi, and 'pupa' with Harada Tomoyo and Takano Hiroshi, among others. This marks the first revival of 'Sketch Show' in nine years, since 2003.
