A Masterpiece Evoking Classic Hits

In the 1970s United States, Steely Dan was hailed as "gods of sound," a band centered around Donald Fagen and Walter Becker, comprised of the era's most skilled musicians. Incorporating jazz elements into rock, they crafted meticulous works, releasing a total of seven albums by 1980, including the historic masterpiece "Aja." They resumed activities in 2000, and their album "Two Against Nature," released after a 20-year hiatus, won four Grammy Awards the following year, including "Album of the Year."

Like his band Steely Dan, Donald Fagen is known as an artist who releases music infrequently. However, his distinctive husky vocals and poetry filled with dandyism have always captured listeners' hearts, regardless of the era. The new album, "Sunken Condos," features all original compositions except for a cover of Isaac Hayes' "Out of the Ghetto." It is a masterpiece that evokes the spirit of his classic hits.

Immerse yourself in the sound that transcends perfectionism and its polished melodies on "Sunken Condos," an album filled with adult aesthetics and music.
