Bob Dylan, celebrating his 50th anniversary in the music industry this year, has completed his 35th original album, "Tempest," featuring all newly written songs. We invite you to immerse yourself in this grand work from the "God of Rock," now 71 years old, featuring tracks like "Roll On, John," dedicated to his late friend John Lennon, and "Tempest," a nearly 14-minute epic recounting the tragedy of the Titanic.

A Grand Narrative of the Titanic and His Late Friend John Lennon

Bob Dylan has become a living legend. Debuting in 1962, the same year as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Beach Boys, he has shaped the era of rock, transformed society, and influenced countless lives.

With over 100 million albums sold worldwide, inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and numerous awards including Grammys and Golden Globes, he is also annually nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature. This year, he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor, from President Obama. Still performing over 100 live shows annually, he continues to run at the forefront of his time.

His new album "Tempest," released after a three-year hiatus, is notable not only for its distinctive use of instruments like the accordion and the Cuban/Mexican string instrument 'tres' but also for its grand themes and unfolding narratives, showcasing his exceptional talent as a storyteller.

Particularly moving is "Roll On, John," a seven-and-a-half-minute tribute to his dear friend John Lennon. The song quotes lines from "Come Together" and "A Day in the Life," among others, and laments Lennon's life, striking a chord with the listener.

The album also features "Tempest," a 14-minute epic about the tragedy of the Titanic that even mentions Leonardo DiCaprio, and "Tin Angel," a song about heartbreak and revenge, comprising 10 tracks that showcase his undiminished creative drive.

The Japanese edition includes a detailed commentary and a full translation of the lyrics, allowing fans to fully appreciate his literary prowess. The limited edition also comes with a 60-page booklet featuring rare magazine covers that have featured Bob Dylan.
