Two Days Immersed in the DJ Unit "Kyoto Jazz Massive"

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of "Extra Freedom," the music production and management office headed by Shuya Okino, the sibling DJ unit "Kyoto Jazz Massive"—featuring Shuya and Yoshihiro Okino—will perform live in Tokyo for the first time in three years and in Osaka for the first time in nine years.

This event will feature not only Extra Freedom artists such as DJ Kawasaki and ROOT SOUL, but also N’Dea Davenport and Hanah Spring, who have collaborated on their tracks and were part of the former Brand New Heavies.

Returning to Japan is Vanessa Freeman, whose vocals are indispensable to "Kyoto Jazz Massive." She captivated audiences in January as a guest of Baker Brothers and will perform once again.

The lineup also includes a stellar cast of musicians: Dubb Zunbi and Yusuke Hirado from SOIL&“PIMP”SESSIONS, who were featured in last year's Mondo Grosso Tribute Live; Ken Kurihara, active in Mountain Mocha Kilimanjaro and Kyoto Jazz Sextet; and Hidero Nishioka, a regular collaborator on Kyoto Jazz Massive releases.

Additionally, emerging talents will join for the first time, including the popular drummer Yoshitaka Shirane, who has performed with numerous famous artists on tours and live shows, and Tetsuta Otachi from JariBu Afrobeat Arkestra.

This is a live performance that will undoubtedly excite fans of all genres, including jazz, boogie, soul, funk, disco, and fusion.
