Promotional Videos and Studio Live Performances of Key Tracks Available on Special Website

METAFIVE's first original album "META," by Yukihiro Takahashi, Keigo Oyamada, Yoshinori Sahara, Towa Tei, Tomohiko Gondo, and Leo Iwai, is finally set for release on January 13th.

The album features 12 tracks, including "Don’t Move," which has already been released as a pre-release single, and the key track "Luv U Tokio." The music video for "Luv U Tokio," a collaboration of Japan's leading creators including director Go Nakamura (CAVIAR), Junji Kojima (teevee graphics), cinematographer Kazunari Tajima, stylist Shinichi Mita, and hair & makeup artist Shinji Konishi, was recently released and has garnered significant attention. The album also includes a new version of "Split Spirit," the ending theme for "Ghost Stands Alone," the fourth part of "Ghost in the Shell: ARISE," released under the name Yukihiro Takahashi & METAFIVE, and a META version of Towa Tei's "Radio," on which Yukihiro Takahashi made a guest appearance on the original track.

Furthermore, the promotional video for "Luv U Tokio," as well as studio live footage of "Don’t Move" and "Maisie’s Avenue," are currently available on the METAFIVE special website. The content builds anticipation for the album and upcoming live performances.

Additionally, a release party will be held on Thursday, January 14th, at LIQUIDROOM in Ebisu, with Young Juvenile Youth as the opening act. On Thursday, January 21st, METAFIVE will hold their first solo live performance at EX THEATER ROPPONGI, the venue that inspired the formation of the group.
