Open Reel Ensemble, captivating audiences worldwide with their overwhelming performances that fuse vintage reel-to-reel decks with modern computers. Their first album, 'Open Reel Ensemble,' released in 2012 on commmons, featured a diverse range of guest vocalists such as Yukihiro Takahashi, Etsuko Yakushimaru, and Money Mark.1st album 'Open Reel Ensemble'sent shockwaves through the scene as a fresh approach to electronic music.



On their new work, they explore experimental pop songs, utilizing tape machines and computers with 'voice' as their central theme.

Singer-songwriter Tsubasa Tabito Nanao contributes vocals, lyrics, and composition. The album also features the 'voices' of a distinguished lineup of guests, including visual artist and performer Shota Mori, known for his 'prepared iPhone'; the female solo singer Babi, highly praised by Ryuichi Sakamoto; Jan from GREAT3 and jan and naomi; and the dance company 'Kuri-Mba-Nee'.
