Global Expansion into English-Speaking Markets Begins

Ryuichi Sakamoto"kizunaworld.org" is a project launched by Ryuichi Sakamoto and media creator Tomoyasu Hirano to support the recovery and reconstruction of the disaster-stricken regions. It is a long-term project that provides support through a system where donations allow for the download of charity works provided by artists who agree with its purpose.

Already released are "KIZUNA," a collaborative animation by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Italian contemporary artist Valerio Belluti, and "kizuna wprld-arve henriksen+pf mix-," a video work combining photographs of disaster sites provided by the Japan Visual Journalism Association (JVJA) with a new song by Ryuichi Sakamoto.

The third release adds a new version of "KIZUNA," titled "KIZUNA motonoto version," to which electronic musician and producer Alva Noto has layered new musical elements. Additionally, "modern interior," a collaborative work by world-renowned musician David Sylvian and Norwegian musician Jan Bang, created with thoughts for those who suffered and were lost in the disaster, will also be unveiled.

With the participation of international artists, "kizunaworld.org" has begun its expansion into English-speaking markets, aiming to solicit donations not only from within Japan but from countries around the world.
