Ryuichi Sakamoto's Reconstruction Support Project: Latest Update
As we reported in our previous issue,Ryuichi Sakamotolaunched the disaster-stricken area support project "kizunaworld.org." The initiative involves receiving artwork donations from artists and using the proceeds and donations for reconstruction efforts. Following the first video work by Italian contemporary artist Valerio Berruti, a second piece has now been released. This new work is a video composition featuring a song written by Ryuichi Sakamoto on the theme of the recent earthquake, alongside photographs taken by journalists covering the affected regions.

A Collaborative Work by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Journalists
"kizunaworld.org" is a project initiated by Ryuichi Sakamoto and media creator Tomoyasu Hirano to provide long-term support to the disaster-affected areas. In collaboration with supportive artists, the project aims to continuously offer charity artworks, fostering connections between people and expanding the circle of support through these creations. The initiative began last month with the release of "KIZUNA," an animated work co-created by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Italian contemporary artist Valerio Berruti.
