The World of "God Save My Shoes" Arrives at Isetan Shinjuku

A collaboration has been realized between the documentary film "God Save My Shoes" and the shoe floor on the 2nd floor of Isetan Shinjuku, which captivates visiting women with its wide selection and elegant space! It runs until Tuesday, May 28th.

A Documentary Exploring the Relationship Between Women and Shoes

Featuring star designers from coveted brands that women dream of wearing, and celebrities, this documentary film "God Save My Shoes" delves into the relationship between women and shoes—a sensual and captivating presence that has always captured women's hearts—from various perspectives.

Along with rare interviews with Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, Pierre Hardy, and Roger Vivier, Fergie and Dita Von Teese, captivated by shoes, also make an appearance. The film explores the mystery of their allure in a pop, psychological, social, historical, and even "fetishistic" manner.

And now, at Isetan Shinjuku, which reopened in March this year with the slogan "The World's Best Fashion Museum," a special exhibition embodying the world of the film has arrived. On the second floor women's shoe section, a cafe-inspired space has been created, featuring an exhibition and sale of shoe collections from brands related to the film, as well as books about shoes to browse. The space is filled with thoughtful touches designed to stimulate the senses of shoe and film enthusiasts alike.

Furthermore, at "Sébastien Bouillet Fascination" on the first basement floor, a cake shaped like a bright red shoe is available. This is a collaboration with pâtissier Sébastien Bouillet, who has garnered attention from France and around the world, having been certified as the youngest member of the international association "Relais Desserts" in 2004.

This collaboration, unfolding at Isetan Shinjuku alongside "God Save My Shoes," is a gift to all women who love shoes. Here, women can find shoes that fulfill their desires to become more beautiful, stronger, or to discover a new self.
