The Documentary "Journey: Don't Stop Believin'"
The documentary "Journey: Don't Stop Believin'," chronicling the rock fairy tale that befell the iconic American band Journey and Filipino vocalist Arnel Pineda as they celebrate their 40th anniversary, will begin its nationwide theatrical release on Saturday, March 16th, at Shinjuku Piccadilly and other theaters. To commemorate the release, OPENERS is offering a giveaway of original stickers to 10 lucky winners.

Journey, the immortal rock band, has delivered mega-hits since their debut in 1975, including the classic "Don't Stop Believin'" and the timeless ballad "Open Arms," achieving a remarkable record of eight platinum discs during their peak. Despite facing member departures and crises of disbandment, they have overcome challenges by bringing in new members.
In 2007, Journey, in search of a new vocalist, "discovered" Filipino singer Arnel Pineda on YouTube. This film sheds light on Arnel's life journey and his modern-day success story, brought to life as a documentary.
The American Dream Achieved After Countless Hardships
December 2007. Journey guitarist Neal Schon was searching for a new lead vocalist. Just as he was about to give up, unable to find the ideal singer, he discovered Filipino singer Arnel Pineda on YouTube, singing Journey's songs.

Struck by Arnel's high-pitched voice and astonishing vocal prowess, Neal Schon immediately contacted him. Initially dismissing the call as a malicious prank, Arnel soon realized it was genuinely Neal and promptly flew to the US. He auditioned and was officially welcomed as Journey's new vocalist, a story that became global news.
Despite achieving this American Dream, Arnel's life had been a series of immeasurable hardships. The death of his beloved mother, who taught him to sing, family separation,—
