Oz The Great and Powerful: Unveiling the Untold Past of Oz
The Wizard of Oz, a beloved classic by author L. Frank Baum, features the wizard Oz. Disney's "Oz The Great and Powerful," which depicts his "untold past," will be released simultaneously worldwide on Friday, March 8th. In anticipation of this, OPENERS is offering an invitation to the Japan Premiere event, to be held at Roppongi Hills Arena on the evening of Wednesday, February 20th, for 5 pairs (10 people).

Disney and "Spider-Man" Visionary Director Sam Raimi Join Forces
"Oz The Great and Powerful" is an action-fantasy that chronicles the journey of a man who, guided by a twist of fate, becomes the "great and powerful Oz." Disney, which has consistently delivered acclaimed fantasy films such as "Alice in Wonderland" and "The Chronicles of Narnia" series, has collaborated with the renowned visionary director Sam Raimi, celebrated for the "Spider-Man" series, to create a century's worth of action-adventure, complete with breathtaking visuals, soul-stirring dynamism, and a grand scale.
James Franco stars as Oscar, the protagonist. The three witches of Oz are portrayed by Michelle Williams, a Golden Globe winner for "My Week with Marilyn"; Oscar winner Rachel Weisz; and Mila Kunis from "Black Swan," whose captivating beauty adds to the film's allure.
A Visually Stunning Battle Begins──
Oz, a magician who dreams of becoming a great man, is swept away by a tornado and finds himself in a magical land. There, due to a mere coincidence of names, he is mistaken for the "great and powerful wizard" foretold in the land's prophecy.
Guided by Theodora, the Witch of the West, he arrives at the Emerald City, shimmering in green. Evanora, the Witch of the East, tasks him with saving Oz from an evil witch who rules the land. Enticed by the promise of treasure and fame, he embarks on a journey with Finley, a winged monkey, to find the wicked witch.
Later, Oz rescues "China Girl," the sole survivor from the "land of pottery" that was shattered by the witches. He then encounters Glinda, the Witch of the South. Could she be the evil witch? As Oz's fate intertwines with the three witches, a startling truth about the land of Oz is revealed.──.
