Director Toshiaki Toyoda, known for his striking individuality and immense popularity in films such as "Blue Spring," "Nine Souls," and "Airy Gardens," presents his latest work, "I'M FLASH!" This film delivers a powerful message on life and death and will be released nationwide in theaters starting September 1st (Saturday) at Shinjuku Theatre, Eurospace, and other venues.

Kiko Mizuhara as the Heroine, Ryuhei Matsuda as an Assassin: A Stellar Cast of Young Talent

"I'M FLASH!" marks the first collaboration between director Toshiaki Toyoda and Tatsuya Fujiwara. Five years after their initial encounter, Fujiwara, who had long desired to work with Toyoda, and the director have finally completed this entertainment film centered on the theme of "death."

The film stars Fujiwara as Louis, who becomes the young leader of a new religious sect. Kiko Mizuhara plays the heroine, and Ryuhei Matsuda, a regular in Toyoda's films since "Blue Spring" and appearing in a Toyoda film for the first time in nine years, takes on the role of Shinno, Louis's bodyguard who confronts him. This ensemble of talented young actors is one of the film's highlights.

The Gears of Fate Begin to Turn After an Accident

Louis Yoshino (Tatsuya Fujiwara) is the young third-generation leader of the new religious sect "Life is Beautiful," inherited solely from his grandfather, and lives an empty existence. One night, he meets a mysterious beauty, Rui (Kiko Mizuhara), and is instantly captivated. However, their car crashes into a motorcycle during a drive. Louis miraculously sustains only minor injuries, but the other party dies instantly. Rui hovers between life and death.

Upon learning of the accident, Louis's mother and sister, who are executives of the sect, fear for its survival and desperately try to cover it up. They arrange for Louis to be evacuated to a remote southern island, guarded by three bodyguards, including Shinno (Ryuhei Matsuda). Shinno gradually becomes intrigued by the increasingly dysfunctional family and Louis's behavior. Meanwhile, Louis, having faced "death" himself and for the first time understanding the meaning of life, decides to leave the sect, which means defying it. New orders are then given to Shinno and the other bodyguards.—.

This heartfelt masterpiece explodes onto the screen with the intense clashes of three unique individuals. We are compelled to witness the fate of the gears of destiny that begin to turn at the threshold of life and death.
