A live house, "SHIBUYA UNDER SCRAMBLE powered by au 5G," has appeared within "Virtual Shibuya." The first music event, "YOU MAKE SHIBUYA VIRTUAL MUSIC LIVE powered by au 5G," was held on March 31st. The event will run for 20 days, including the opening day.

We have previously announced events held in "Virtual Shibuya," an officially recognized virtual space by Shibuya Ward, inour magazineas.

Within Virtual Shibuya, a live house named "SHIBUYA UNDER SCRAMBLE powered by au 5G" has now opened. The first day of the virtual music live, "YOU MAKE SHIBUYA VIRTUAL MUSIC LIVE powered by au 5G," was held on March 31st.

This music live is part of the "YOU MAKE SHIBUYA Crowdfunding" initiative, launched in the summer of 2020 to support industries like entertainment and fashion that underpin Shibuya's culture, which were impacted by the spread of COVID-19.

The objective is to provide a platform for artists whose activities are restricted due to the pandemic to express themselves and share their work. Utilizing funds raised through crowdfunding and Shibuya Ward's budget, bands and musicians associated with Shibuya will perform live in the officially recognized "Virtual Shibuya," incorporating cutting-edge digital technology.

This live house is located in the underground mall of Virtual Shibuya. Descending the stairs, which serve as subway entrances in real Shibuya, reveals a "cyber" space.

The virtual venue features a stage where attendees can enjoy the music performed by the artists.

On the opening day, March 31st, three acts—The Cheseras, sooogood!, and Wez Atlas—performed, electrifying the venue.

The next broadcast is scheduled for April 16th (Friday). The performing artists will be announced later. In this era where going out freely is difficult, we encourage you to experience a new way of enjoying music in the virtual world.
