Thirteen Ambassadors

Rémy Martin LOUIS XIII is not only the world's finest cognac but also a unique spirit cherished by discerning adults who know all there is to know about spirits. A launch party was held to celebrate its new venture in Japan.

The venue was "Maduro," the bar at Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Roppongi. For the next six months until the end of March 2012, a permanent "Maison LOUIS XIII" room will be established, and thirteen prominent individuals granted access to this exclusive space were introduced.

Among the ambassadors selected were Hiroshi Setadara, President of BEAMS; percussionist and producer Nov Saito; and Chris Peppler, a popular TV and radio personality. These individuals were chosen to convey the allure of LOUIS XIII to Japanese adults who seek the finest.


Masatoshi Tanaka, President of Rémy Cointreau Japan, stated, "Cognac's popularity in Japan has declined. Now is the time to restore its prestige." He explained that the thirteen men were formed to pass down the excellence of LOUIS XIII, considered the pinnacle of cognacs, to those who can appreciate its distinction.

Following President Tanaka's address, the thirteen ambassadors shared their perspectives on cognac and the charms of LOUIS XIII.




Interviews with these thirteen individuals about their "views on LOUIS XIII" were conducted. They will be featured on OPENERS over the next six months, so please stay tuned.
