ART FAIR TOKYO 2012 to be Held from March 30

Starting March 30, "ART FAIR TOKYO," now in its seventh year, will be held at the Tokyo International Forum in Yurakucho. This major art event allows visitors to purchase works from 135 top galleries, both domestic and international. A wide range of high-quality pieces will be gathered in one place, from antique art and crafts to Japanese paintings, Western-style paintings, sculptures, and contemporary art. New sections have also been established, such as "Discover Asia," featuring prominent galleries from the rapidly growing East Asian region, and "project in PROJECTS," showcasing installations by emerging artists that exceed the confines of typical booth spaces.
