Harajuku's Togo Memorial Museum will open a limited-time "Beer Terrace Kagura" on Saturday, August 1, 2020. Until Wednesday, September 30, guests can enjoy an "adult beer terrace" with select Japanese sake and craft beers while taking in the Japanese garden and enjoying a leisurely time.

Harajuku's Togo Memorial Museum boasts over 40 years of history as a wedding venue. Despite its convenient location, just a 5-minute walk from Harajuku Station, it is surrounded by "Togo no Mori," a roughly 10,000-tsubo expanse on the former estate of the Ikeda Marquis family of the Tottori domain. Its Japanese garden, which reveals different facets with each season, has also been cherished by many.

The "Beer Terrace Kagura," which opens annually for a limited time during the summer, is back again this year. All-you-can-eat meals are served as colorful skewers of seasonal ingredients, offered in both fried and grilled styles. The ingredients change throughout the operating period, ensuring a fresh experience with each visit.

The all-you-can-drink options include draft beer, of course, as well as craft beers and select Japanese sake. The venue also implements COVID-19 infection prevention measures. In addition to measuring visitors' temperatures, it avoids the three Cs and uses CO2 sensors to monitor ventilation in real-time.

On a summer night, we want to spend a wonderful time with delicious food and fine beer while admiring the beautifully illuminated Japanese garden.
