The "Cold-Pressed Method" for Extracting Nutrients While They're Still Alive

Everyone wishes to live each day with joy and health. However, it's also true that the variety and quantity of fruits and vegetables we consume daily have limitations. To address these issues with a simple and swift approach, "Why Juice?" was born in Daikanyama.

"Why Juice?" employs the "cold-pressed method," where fruits and vegetables are individually compressed by hand over time, extracting their nutrients while they are still alive, without damaging them. The clear liquid, free of solid matter like peels, is said to be easily digestible without burdening the stomach and intestines.

Furthermore, only organic and low-pesticide vegetables and fruits, cleared by radioactivity testing, are used, sourced from contract farmers across the country. The juices are extracted without any preservatives or food additives. Based on the traditional Japanese concept of "Shunsan Shunsho"—eating seasonal ingredients when they are at their peak nutritional value—"Why Juice?" offers ingredients suited to each season.

The menu features a diverse lineup, including "Refresh," a blend of cucumber—notable for the fat-decomposing enzyme "phospholipase" that boosts metabolism—brightened with pineapple and mint, and "Fresh Green," whose green power and the antioxidant properties in lemon peel support radiant beauty and women's fluctuating well-being. You'll want to choose based on your own condition and situation.

The shop, also a factory, in Daikanyama includes a counter where customers can enjoy their juices on-site. Additionally, a mobile sales service using a bicycle cart is available; its daily schedule can be tracked via a GPS-linked map on the website and social media, allowing purchases at various locations throughout Tokyo. Delivery services are also offered to offices, shops, and studios.

"Why Juice?" is also committed to initiatives that utilize nature's bounty, such as establishing a circular system where the peels of pressed vegetables and fruits are sent to nearby farms to be used as feed for chickens and pigs. We encourage you to incorporate seasonal vegetables and fruits into your diet deliciously to energize your daily life.
