Lunch Featuring Harumi Kurihara's Home-Style Recipes, Dinner with Dishes Perfect for Drinks

Harumi Kurihara has warmed the hearts and filled the stomachs of many with her comforting, unpretentious cooking and recipes. Her first and only directly managed standalone flagship store in Tokyo, a shop and restaurant she produced, has now opened near Gakugei-daigaku Station.

Beyond an entrance adorned with fresh flowers and greenery, the restaurant welcomes guests with abundant natural light streaming through large windows. All dishes are prepared fresh daily in the open kitchen, with a menu showcasing Kurihara's popular recipes alongside original creations exclusive to the restaurant.

For lunch, the menu offers a variety of home-style dishes that change weekly, including a rotating main course, the week's curry plate, and pasta, ensuring there's always something new to try. Dinner features appetizers like pickles, marinades, and salads, as well as hearty stews and grilled fish and meat dishes, all designed to pair perfectly with drinks.

The interior also boasts a bar counter, offering a selection of drinks curated by Kurihara, including wine and draft beer. Shelves built into the restaurant walls display a variety of items for purchase, such as tableware from her chosen artisans, kitchen cloths, and bags.

'harumi's' offers an atmosphere akin to visiting Kurihara's own home, an experience previously only glimpsed through her books and television appearances. Indulging in the exquisite cuisine and warm ambiance here is sure to invigorate you for the days ahead.
