Located on the 28th floor of Conrad Tokyo, "Kazahana" Japanese restaurant offers a popular panoramic view of Hamarikyu Gardens. To commemorate its selection as one of the "Great Hotel Restaurants 2011" by the prestigious hospitality industry magazine "HOTELS," headquartered in Chicago, a special "HOTELS Great Hotel Restaurants 2011 Award Commemorative Kaiseki" will be offered from Tuesday, November 1st to Saturday, December 17th.

Preserving Japanese Culinary Traditions While Offering Surprising Innovations
The "Great Hotel Restaurants" award recognizes restaurants based on unique criteria including operational excellence, menu, service, pricing, guest comments, and guest demographics. In 2011, ten restaurants were selected, including "Le Cinq" at Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris in France and "Il Ristorante" at Bulgari Resort Bali in Indonesia.
This "Award Commemorative Kaiseki" is a special menu that shines with the sensibility of Chef Masanobu Inaba, whose philosophy of "Onko Chishin"—learning from the past to gain new knowledge and insights—has led to "Kazahana's" high acclaim.
The experience begins with a glass of champagne, expressing gratitude to the guests who supported this achievement. Highlights include "Amadai Seven Lucky Turnip Bamboo Steamed Dish," a steamed delicacy featuring the delicate and comforting flavors of Japanese cuisine presented innovatively in a bamboo tube, and "Kobe Beef Low-Temperature Roast," a new preparation where tender, slow-cooked Kobe beef is served with a savory Daitokuji miso sauce.
To conclude the meal, guests can savor the chef's signature "Fugu Chazuke Kazahana Style," a dish where hot dashi infused with pufferfish fins is poured over pufferfish tataki and rice.
