The "Éclair Joconde" & "Mini Éclair Bebeclair"


Éclairs, a quintessential French pastry and a beloved sweet for the French, have been reimagined by FAUCHON. Since 2004, FAUCHON has presented colorful, playful, and exquisitely designed éclairs. Now, they introduce an artistic creation inspired by the eyes of the "Mona Lisa," alongside a collection of mini éclairs called Bebeclair (BeBe + Eclair), available until October 12th.

With a passion for French culinary heritage, FAUCHON adds the "Éclair Joconde" to its limited-edition éclair lineup. This creation captures the enigmatic allure of the Mona Lisa, Leonardo da Vinci's most famous work displayed at the Louvre Museum. Recreated through a special chocolate transfer technique, the mysterious woman's gaze conceals a rich almond milk chocolate cream within.

Eight exquisite flavors—almond, caramel, chocolate, raspberry, pistachio, coffee, chocolate raspberry, and lemon—are offered, mirroring the selection in Paris. The "Bebeclair" mini éclairs, conceived by Executive Chef Christophe Adam, are new 6cm gourmet creations. These delightful bite-sized "baby" éclairs are planned for a 12-piece set (pre-order price ¥4,515, frozen delivery) to be available through the Takashimaya gift catalog.
