Nespresso Releases New "Masala Chai"

Nespresso, known for its 21 varieties of classic "Grand Cru" coffee capsules, has added a new limited-edition capsule, "Masala Chai," to its lineup.

The aroma of cinnamon, star anise, and cloves

The "VARIATIONS Club Favorite" initiative allowed customers to vote on Nespresso's website for their preferred flavor among three new coffee creations, with the most popular chosen as the new product. This campaign was held in June.

All candidate flavor coffees were based on the classic "Livanto" capsule. The three options were "Cioccorosso," with notes of dark chocolate and red berries for a refreshing taste; "Liminto," offering a fresh, summery bouquet of mint and lime; and "Masala Chai," featuring the aroma of cinnamon, star anise, and cloves. Masala Chai was the winning selection in Japan.

Medium-roasted Arabica beans from Central and South America create a mellow, exquisitely balanced Livanto aroma and flavor, harmonizing with the new, distinctive character of Masala Chai. We hope you enjoy it.

A fusion of cinnamon, star anise, and clove aromas creates a flavor reminiscent of Indian masala chai. The cereal notes characteristic of the base "Livanto" further enhance the overall taste.
