Reservations Start August 5th!
The special Restaurant Week begins, offering limited-time, reasonably priced special menus at premium restaurants that you might think, "I've always wanted to go, but it's usually out of reach."
From the 80 participating restaurants in the inaugural event in the summer of 2010, this 5th edition sees the addition of restaurants from Hokkaido and Kyushu, bringing the total to approximately 240.
Participating Restaurant Menus to be Revealed July 23rd
As a "beauty project" for this Japan Restaurant Week 2012 Summer Premium, "Blood Type Diet" supervised by nutrition consultant Erika Unger will be featured at "Restaurant I" in Jingumae and "China Blue" within Conrad Tokyo. These elegant yet healthy menus are based on the theories of the "Blood Type Diet," favored by many global celebrities.
During the event, Restaurant I will offer four menus—for blood types A, B, O, and AB—as a dinner course (7,350 yen). This unique healthy menu, a collaboration between the "Blood Type Diet" theory and the "Menu Nice Life" concept from Restaurant I's head chef Keisuke Matsushima, who is based in Nice, France, can be savored for a limited time.
We hope to expand our list of favorite restaurants by making the most of this limited-time gourmet festival, held twice a year.
