Bulgari Releases a Guidebook Deeply Immersing Readers in Rome, the Brand's Source of Inspiration
Bulgari has released the guidebook "BVLGARI ROMA: TRAVEL TALES FOR BEAUTY LOVERS." It guides readers through Rome, Italy, from Bulgari's unique perspective.
Text by YANAKA Tomomi | Edit by TSUCHIDA Takashi
Featuring Short Stories by Roman Writers and Contributions from Celebrities
Since its founding in 1884, Bulgari has drawn inspiration from the magnificent beauty of Rome, a city rich in architectural, artistic, and cultural heritage.
For example, the iconic design of the "B.zero1" ring is inspired by the Colosseum, Rome's ultimate symbol. The shape of the "Octo" watch draws inspiration from the coffered ceilings found in the Basilica of Maxentius.
Now, a unique guidebook has been created, connecting Rome's landmarks with Bulgari's timeless designs inspired by them.
The portable book includes not only actual guides to landmarks and monuments but also short stories written by renowned Roman authors from contemporary Italian literature, inspired by the city's most iconic places. Furthermore, contributions from celebrities in fashion, cinema, sports, and music with ties to Rome make this an even more enriching volume.
How did Bulgari's beautiful designs come to be? This book reveals the secrets behind them, and especially now, when travel is difficult, it allows us to immerse ourselves in the feeling of traveling through Rome.
