Makoto Tanijiri is active not only as an architect but also across various fields. Currently based in both his hometown of Hiroshima and Tokyo, his work spans a wide range, from planning and designing architecture and interiors, renovations, to furniture design.
This collection brings together conversations that Tanijiri began in April 2009 for the architecture and interior design magazine 'Modern Living'. In each discussion, he explores the images of architecture and spaces that arise while talking with guests from various fields about their ideal homes, giving form to the 'daydreams' of what kind of houses they wish existed.
