A series of integrated events will be held during "ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO 2023," taking place on Saturday, March 4, and Sunday, March 5, 2023.

Praised for fostering opportunities for emerging artists to launch their careers and for creating a space for interaction between visitors and artists, "ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO" marks its sixth year as an art fair that transcends conventional boundaries.

The satellite event "ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO: SATELLITE 2023," commencing on Thursday, March 2, ahead of the main fair, will broadcast art from the heart of Kyoto, driven by companies that resonate with the "ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO" concept. This year's event will feature four venues across Kyoto city, primarily restaurants and galleries, showcasing and selling works by contemporary artists to foster encounters with art across diverse audiences.

Also on March 2, the "ARTISTS’ FAIR KYOTO 2023 Mynavi ART AWARD" ceremony, which honors outstanding works selected from "ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO 2023" submissions, will be held as a public event. The judging panel, returning from last year, includes Shihoko Iida, Yasuyuki Nakai, and Noboru Tsubaki, joined by new member Yu Takehisa. They will select the award-winning works from the submitted artists to support their future endeavors.
