March 29th: Photographer in Attendance for Signings
Théo Gosselin, originally from Normandy in northern France, is often described as the post-Ryan McGinley. He is active as a photographer and filmmaker, and his work, which hints at an underground lifestyle, is gaining attention both within and outside of France.
Last June, the Scandinavian independent publishing label "Éditions du LIC," known for discovering young photographers, released his first photobook, "Avec Le Coeur." To commemorate the release of the long-awaited second edition, Théo Gosselin will visit Japan for his first solo exhibition here.
The exhibition will feature works primarily from his photobook. On Saturday, March 29th, Gosselin himself will be present at the gallery to sign copies of his work and photobooks for purchasers. Additionally, photobooks by other artists published by "Éditions du LIC" will be introduced concurrently.
