Making-of Video Also Released on Special Website

Bathed in a dazzling white glow, platinum has been used as the ultimate precious metal in jewelry. A portrait has now been completed, luxuriously crafted from such platinum and brought to life through the meticulous handiwork of skilled artisans.

For this project, the art direction was handled by Yuu NISHIDA, with planning and production by Tsubasa OYAGI of the creator group "SIX," formerly of Hakuhodo. The photography was led by Muga MIYAHARA, bringing together specialists from each field.

The portrait has a total weight of approximately 1 kilogram, using about 13,000 small platinum spheres ranging from 2 to 5 millimeters. Four artisans painstakingly embedded each platinum sphere by hand, completing the work over the course of a week. A making-of video, capturing the process of this highly technical creation, is currently available on the special website, offering a glimpse into the full scope of the platinum artwork as it gradually takes shape.

Each tiny sphere glitters, bringing forth the portrait of a woman. It is a modern "portrait" that fulfills the desire, perhaps cherished by many women, to "never fade, to shine eternally."
