Hayama's "Chic Oysters" on a Journey

momoko japan, known for her landscape and portrait work, was born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1977. After graduating from the Department of Film at Nihon University College of Art, she apprenticed under photographer Takatoshi Sato and has since worked extensively in advertising and magazines.


The star of this 'Kaki Ten' exhibition is the oyster, traveling through Hayama. More specifically, it's a "chic woman" with a "trendy" and poetic sensibility. Ten photographs are accompanied by ten poems, offering a glimpse into the complex heart of a woman alongside the landscapes of her journey.

Furthermore, the first half of the exhibition features 'Sakari no Kaki Kuukai' (Peak Oyster Eating Gathering), and the latter half presents 'Nagori no Kaki Kuukai' (Lingering Oyster Eating Gathering), showcasing a variety of oyster dishes, including those from Karakuwa, Miyagi Prefecture, at LA MAREE DE CHAYA. The second-floor restaurant offers menus such as the "Oyster Lunch Course (5,250 yen)" and the "Oyster Omakase Full Course (10,500 yen)." The first-floor bar & cafe will also feature the "Five Star Oyster Plate," allowing guests to enjoy five types of oysters – accented with vinegar or dressing, confit, or blanched.


'Kaki Ten' offers a chance to see a new facet of oysters, and indeed, the "maiden heart" of the oyster. We invite you to simultaneously savor the "deliciousness" unique to this season through three elements: photography, poetry, and cuisine.
