Six Perspectives, Six Intersections

The exhibition 'solo six' brings together six photographers with distinct styles and backgrounds. The participating artists are Ryo Ichii, Yuji Ono, Tomokazu Sasaki, Akiko Samejima, Isao Hazeoki, and Munetaka Harada.

Ichii presents 'THE VEINS,' one of his signature works, capturing the 'imprint of life' on wilting cut flowers. Ono, inspired by inanimate objects that constantly change their expression with light, has created works depicting a world of living inanimate objects. Sasaki's subject is a 'room of no return,' where life and death intertwine, capturing Sasaki's own introspective journey.

Samejima's memories, nurtured by the seas of Borneo, connect to the divine Ganges River, while Hazeoki gently captures 'landscapes that were perhaps never needed.' Harada, who has spent years photographing in forests, has imprinted the resonance of these woods onto his photographs.

As an introduction, instant films reflecting each artist's individual roots are also displayed at the venue. The large-format prints that unfold from these reveal six intersecting perspectives, conjuring new worlds.
