Taro Mizutani is a photographer whose work primarily focuses on fashion magazines, advertising for fashion brands, and artist portraits. Following his participation in "Fashion Photography," a joint exhibition by four fashion photographers, he now presents his first solo exhibition. This exhibition highlights the work of a photographer demonstrating a dynamic and evolving artistic vision.



The venue will feature 29 pieces photographed by Mizutani this year. Captured during his travels to locations such as California, Shiretoko, Kumamoto, and Mt. Fuji, these works encompass three distinct subjects: nature photography, fashion photography, and social landscapes. Under the title 'New Journal,' this exhibition explores the current state of new photographic expression.



To commemorate this solo exhibition, a limited edition catalog of 'New Journal,' with only 500 copies, will also be available for purchase.

Mizutani states, "The photographic record, weaving together fragments of what I see, is consistent whether it's fashion or landscape. There are no boundaries to the ephemerality and transience of the subject matter; it is always stimulating. I feel that by honing my gaze and continuing to observe, I can capture the essence of our time."
