"Ultra," an emerging directors art fair where individual directors under 40 years old serve as the unit of exhibition, and "+ Plus: The Art Fair," which broadly introduces excellent Japanese art beyond genre boundaries, not limited to contemporary art, will be held concurrently at Spiral in Aoyama.

Experience the "now" of art and make art more accessible
The Emerging Directors Art Fair "Ultra" is a unique art fair, now in its sixth year, where individual directors, who select artists and works at galleries, serve as the unit of exhibition.
The characteristic feature is that young directors, not as members of a gallery but under their own names, exhibit artworks they truly wish to introduce. This year, 52 young directors will exhibit across two sessions.
This year, directors based in the United States are also exhibiting, resulting in a more diverse range of artworks than in previous years. Through these works, one can experience the fresh sensibilities of directors who are shaping the "now" and "future" of the art world, and discover many emerging talents.
Works by figures leading Japan's art scene
"+ Plus: The Art Fair" is an art fair that restarted last year by integrating with "Ultra," and it features a curated selection of works from seven galleries boasting high achievements and trust.
Starting this year, the venue is the Spiral Garden, and admission is free. Throughout the exhibition period, various events will be held, including an opening party and a closing party to announce the Best Sales and Best Wall awards.
