ART | Honda Hosts Poster Art Exhibition for "Insight"
ART | Honda and Graphic Artists Collaborate
The "INSIGHT × Graphic Art" Exhibition Opens
Graphic artist Shun Kawakami and creative director Keiichiro Yanagi have created poster art for Honda’s hybrid car, the Insight. These works are on display at the "INSIGHT × Graphic Art" exhibition, held until June 10 (Monday) at Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo.

Visualizing the "Insight's Perspective"
Two graphic artists express the "invisible perspective emanating from the Insight."
Shun Kawakami, an artist with a deep understanding of both art and design, has created poster art printed on transparent tracing paper. The pieces are displayed in two layers, forming a complete graphic work when combined.
Keiichiro Yanagi, who has been responsible for the creative direction of branding for numerous Honda cars, including the Insight, approached the project with a geometric style to capture the image evoked by the Insight.
This is an intriguing exhibition where two creators of the same generation, active at the forefront of their fields, collaborate on a theme centered around the hybrid car, an icon symbolizing the era.
