Five Themed Course Maps Also Available on Website

'Gallery Midnight,' offering stimulating encounters with art, is held in Ginza, known as Japan's largest gallery district. To encourage those who might find galleries intimidating to interact freely with gallerists and artists, the event will be open until 9:00 PM on Friday, June 7. Furthermore, responding to requests that one day isn't enough to visit all desired galleries, this year's event will also take place during the daytime on Saturday, June 8.

This year, 24 galleries spanning Ginza 5-chome to 8-chome are participating. The participating galleries will be marked by "chochin" (paper lanterns) made by Gifu papermakers, hung outside their entrances, and each will present a compelling exhibition. Additionally,
Five themed course maps, including 'Enjoy Art with a Smile,' 'Traditional Charm,' 'Focus on Timeless Techniques,' 'Shining! Young Artists,' and 'Blissful Painting Collections,' are available on the website to enhance the gallery-hopping experience.



Furthermore, the exhibition 'Materials and Their Textures,' featuring three-dimensional works by six artists, will be held on the third floor of the Max Mara Ginza Namiki Dori store during the event period.
