T-shirts Designed by Lance Mountain Also Available to Commemorate the Exhibition

Lance Mountain was born in California, USA, in 1964. He began his skateboarding journey with a used board passed down from a friend, quickly making a name for himself. By 1981, despite being an amateur, he possessed the skill and popularity to join a national tour with professional skaters of the time, such as Alan "Ollie" Gelfand.

Although skateboarding's popularity waned thereafter, he joined POWELL PERALTA in 1983 and appeared in the first-ever street video produced by Stacy Peralta and Craig Stecyk. After spending nine years, including participating in world tours, he established his own company, The Firm, in 1991. Since then, while remaining involved in skateboarding, his talent as an artist has also blossomed.

This exhibition, held to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Stüssy Shinjuku Chapter's opening, showcases a special display that fuses Lance Mountain's drawings with the world of Stüssy, a brand deeply intertwined with skateboarding culture. Furthermore, to commemorate the art exhibition, two types of T-shirts designed by Mountain will also be released.

"Never Grow Up" is a spectacular collaboration between Stüssy, a pioneer of street brands, and Lance Mountain, one of skateboarding's pioneers. We encourage not only skateboarding enthusiasts but also those who feel nostalgic for "BONES BRIGADE" to visit.
