Exhibition of the Figure Creation Process and Diverse "Portraits"

PARTY is a creative lab based in Tokyo and New York, composed of five members: Naoki Ito, Moriyoshi Harano, Kanta Shimizu, Hiroki Nakamura, and Shinji Kawamura. Driven by the philosophy that "new creation is born from new processes," they have researched and experimented with unique creative processes unlike any other.

The "OMOTE 3D SHASHIN KAN" that has now appeared utilizes technologies such as 3D scanners and 3D printers, differing from traditional two-dimensional photography. It is an initiative to preserve life's milestones, such as Shichi-Go-San, Coming of Age ceremonies, and weddings, in the form of "figures."

The shooting method involves having the subject hold the same pose for about 15 minutes while their body is scanned. This results in a 10-20 cm figure that faithfully reproduces even the texture of clothing.



During the exhibition period, 3D photography sessions are available. The exhibition area also showcases the process of figure creation. Furthermore, visitors can enjoy the displays, including figures of various people, including celebrities, without needing to have their own photos taken.
