An Art Piece Adorned in Seven Colors, Elevating the Sense of Speed and Design

Art Fair Tokyo, known as one of Japan's largest art fairs, showcases art from across time and cultures. This year, Cornes Motors, a Lamborghini dealer, will exhibit a special Huracán developed in partnership with contemporary artist Sputniko!.

Sputniko! creates video installations that reflect on the evolving human condition and society through technology. She is an internationally active artist, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the MIT Media Lab.

For this project, Sputniko! has transformed the "Huracán," originally unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, into an open-top, rear-wheel-drive model, theHuracán RWD Spyderinto a work of art.HuracánThe body, cloaked in seven colors while preserving the car's inherent sense of speed and design, is a piece brimming with her signature futuristic aesthetic.

Art Fair Tokyo 2017 runs from Thursday, March 16th to Sunday, March 19th. The Huracán will be displayed in the Lobby Gallery of the Tokyo International Forum, the venue for the event.
