The Theme is "SHINE": Photographers Showcase Their Skills
"INFINITY" was first held in May of last year, and this marks the third iteration of the photo exhibition. This exhibition sets a common theme, and participating photographers present works that align with it. The theme for this exhibition is "SHINE." It deals with the abstract and grand subject of "light," which is inseparable from photography. It is fascinating to see how each photographer responds to this theme, which is fundamental to photography and can metaphorically evoke "hope" in contemporary Japan following the earthquake disaster.
How will these individuals, who have built careers at the forefront of fashion and commercial photography, approach photography as an art form and elevate this grand theme into their creations? This exhibition attempts to foster resonance among the artists through their photographs, and between the artists and the viewers.
This exhibition is primarily composed of works by eight photographers: Akira Kitajima, Mikiyuki Kobayashi, Shigeo Shitetara, Naoki Tsuruta, Kazutaka Nakamura, Ken Hanzawa, Shuichi Maiyama, and Rosemary, with Mr. Katsuo Hanzawa joining as a guest photographer.
All works in this exhibition are available for purchase, which is another source of enjoyment. We encourage you to visit the venue and let the "light" imprint itself directly onto your eyes.
