PAPER (PINK) Exhibition by Five Photographers
A project linked to the "Pink Fair" for the 2012-13 Autumn/Winter launch of KBF, a women's casual wear brand. Five photographers with close ties to KBF, who contribute to the bimonthly free paper "PAPER," will present photographs featuring KBF's PINK items, alongside an exhibition themed "PINK" that can only be seen at this event. The exhibition will be held at BA-TSU ART GALLERY in Jingumae from Friday, August 3rd to Sunday, August 5th, and at KBF Kaigandori store in Kobe from Friday, August 10th to Sunday, August 12th.

Focus on "PINK," the most prominent color for the Autumn/Winter season launch
The current issue of the free paper "KBF PAPER #04," distributed in stores, features the exhibition and a capsule collection by PAPER titled "Replica."
The theme for KBF's 2012-13 Autumn/Winter collection is "COLOR LINK," and this photo exhibition centers on pink, the color that appears most frequently at the start of the season.

The venue will exhibit new works by photographers Miesha Fujishiro, Megumi Seki, Yasuhide Kuge, Masako Nakagawa, and Masaru Tatsuki.

Miesha Fujishiro
Winner of the 34th Kodansha Publishing Culture Award for Photography in 2003. His representative works include "RIDE RIDE RIDE" (Switch Publishing) and "Niku" (Shueisha). "Mou, Ie ni Kaerou 2" (Rocking On) was released in June 2011.
Megumi Seki
Born in Washington D.C. Shoots broadly and flexibly for magazines, advertisements, catalogs, and celebrity photo books. Held a one-month photo studio on Hayama Isshiki Beach in August 2010. Her collected portrait series "Hachigatsu no Shashinkan" was released by Aspect in July 2011.
Yasuhide Kuge
Born in 1962. Established Yasuhide Kuge Office in 1989. Has received awards such as the Asahi Advertising Award and the Mainichi Advertising Award. Since 2000, he has also extensively photographed traditional performing arts and theater. In 2009, he published "Atelie," a photo book of artists' studios.
Masako Nakagawa
Studied abroad in California during university, where she discovered photography. After returning to Japan, she apprenticed under Kazunori Yamaji. She continues to capture portraits with natural expressions and beautiful landscapes. Her new photo book "Shinsekai" was released in January 2012.
Masaru Tatsuki
Born in Toyama Prefecture in 1974. Published the photo book "DECOTRA" (Little More) in 2007, featuring his ongoing work on decorated trucks. In 2011, he won the Kimura Ihei Photography Award for his first new photo book in five years, "Tohoku."
