Visitors Participate in Creating a Waterside for the "City of Water, Osaka" with White LEGO® Bricks
LEGO® bricks can be used to create anything by connecting pieces. Their ability to stimulate free thinking and their profound depth, stemming from their simple play, continue to captivate people of all ages. Following the success of Part 1, which toured the country from 2003, Part 2 was launched. This highly anticipated exhibition has attracted over 1 million visitors to date. This installment commemorates the 40th anniversary of the adoption of the UNESCO World Heritage Convention.

The venue will feature numerous famous world heritage sites built by LEGO® builders, including the "Pyramids," "Mont Saint-Michel," "Sagrada Familia," and "Kathmandu Valley." From Japan, exhibits will include "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto," "Shurijo Castle," and "Itsukushima Shrine."
In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of LEGO® bricks' arrival in Japan, the exhibition is also collaborating with "BUILD UP JAPAN," a participatory event where visitors create a giant map of Japan with LEGO® bricks. As a special project, the scenery of Osaka, the "City of Water," will be recreated within the venue, and visitors can arrange "waterside creatures" they build with white LEGO® bricks, crafting their own personal "treasures." Additionally, message art titled "My Treasures to Leave for the Future" by 33 artists active both domestically and internationally will be displayed. These irreplaceable global treasures, crafted from LEGO® bricks, offer a delightful miniature journey around the world's heritage sites. We invite you to enjoy this experience.
