Talk Shows with Drivers and Riders During the Exhibition

The Japan Racing Photographers Association (JRPA) is the only organization of its kind in Japan dedicated to motorsports photography. It currently comprises 64 active members and 14 honorary members who capture the thrill and excitement of motorsports at races both domestically and internationally.

This exhibition, "2016 Japan Racing Photographers Association Exhibition: Competition," showcases works where these photographers freely express the 2015 racing scene. The venue will feature a diverse range of photographs, from those conveying speed and power to intimate portraits of drivers and riders, all capturing moments uniquely possible through photography.

On January 18 (Mon) at 7 PM, a special talk show featuring drivers Juichi Wakisaka and Naoki Yamamoto will take place. Joined by JRPA members, they will engage in a candid "talk battle," offering insights from both the photographer's and the subject's perspectives – a conversation rarely heard. Participation is free, but advance registration via the official website is required by January 13 (Wed).

Additionally, the car lifestyle media shop "Le Garage" on the first floor of the AXIS Building, the exhibition venue, will display a Porsche "919 Hybrid." Thanks to the cooperation of Porsche Japan, visitors can admire this genuine sports car up close, even though it is a display model.
