Three Interactive Digital Installations and a Multitude of Other Works Appear

teamLab, comprised of diverse specialists including programmers, engineers, CG animators, painters, mathematicians, architects, web designers, graphic designers, and editors, creates worlds that fuse art, technology, and science. For this event, they have produced a nighttime aquarium experience.

The venue is the Enoshima Aquarium in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture. After 5:00 PM, three grand interactive digital installations come to life. Among them, "Flowers and Fish" projects imagery across the entire Sagami Bay Grand Tank. The visuals become the tank's lighting, with flowers blooming around the tank, influenced by the movements of the fish.




In "Resonating Spheres and Night Fish," visitors interact with a space surrounded by luminous spheres. When a person touches or bumps into a sphere, its color changes and emits a unique sound. The exhibition also features "Sketch Aquarium," where drawn fish swim in a tank, and "teamLab Camera," which automatically takes photos of visitors standing before a digital signage display, allowing them to upload processed images to Facebook.

Additionally, a new work, "Sky-writing: Fish and Shinkai 2000," is on display. The room housing Japan's first deep-sea submersible, the "Shinkai 2000," has been transformed into an art space enveloped by sky-writing made of light.

This captivating space, born from the fusion of digital art and a nighttime aquarium, promises a world of light, water, sound, and living creatures that will surely enchant visitors of all ages.
