Keiko Toda: Thank you for waiting! We're announcing B・G's long-awaited new items.
At Last!
Introducing B&G's Highly Anticipated New Items
At last! We're thrilled to unveil our long-awaited new items!
Many of you may have already gotten your hands on these at the Golden Week live shows, but we're bringing you an impassioned explanation from the B&G brand's producer and designer duo, K-CO and GO!

Long-Awaited Dream 1: The "Adult Rock" Polo Shirt is Complete!
Keiko TodaThis time, we've completed two items, both of which were incredibly anticipated. I'm personally so happy, my excitement is through the roof! We have a polo shirt and a Be@rbrick. The polo shirt had been in the planning stages for a long time and is finally realized, and while large corporations usually handle Be@rbricks, I thought it might be impossible for a small brand like ours, but we worked hard to negotiate and make it happen!
Go UekiYes, I witnessed my sister's amazing negotiation skills once again, learning firsthand how to do it (laughs).
TodaFor the polo shirt, we strongly wanted to emphasize an "adult rock" taste, so this time we deliberately chose a single black color.
UekiOur brand image and direction have become quite clear, so I feel more confident in my design process. B&G's policy is to incorporate current trends and add a touch of luxury.
This time, our focus was on incorporating trends, specifically "foil printing." It's on the chest emblem, the underside of the collar, and the sleeves. We opted for a subtle application in a similar color tone to keep it modern. This time, we used silver.
TodaIf we used overly flashy colors, it would look too childish.
UekiExactly, too much shine lacks elegance.
TodaActually, for this "foil printing," the manufacturer added a new color option on top of the two we requested, and when it came back, it looked incredibly cool.
UekiYes, we tried a bright foil and a black foil, but in the end, this subdued silver turned out to be the best choice.
TodaWe received it as a happy accident.

UekiAlso, we added three black rhinestones to the chest emblem. When using similar color tones, even with different materials, it doesn't look gaudy, does it?
TodaAnd then, the collar lining! We absolutely wanted to include foil printing here. Whether one wears the collar up or down, I wanted to add a detail that wouldn't be seen at first glance.
UekiAlso, for this season, we've made distinct differences in the side cutting and visible stitching for men's and women's styles, ensuring clear silhouette variations.
TodaYes, for women, we've exposed the stitching on the armholes and sides, and slightly shaped the waist to create a flattering silhouette. However, we want anyone, regardless of gender, to wear the style they like if the size fits.
UekiWe also applied a distressed finish to the hem. It's not torn, so please don't return it (laughs).
TodaWe wanted it to change subtly as you wear it. The fabric, too – while regular polo shirts are stiff, we chose a soft, stretchy material this time for comfort.
UekiI believe this item caters to both those who like bold styles and those who prefer a chic look. The chest emblem features a motif we've used before on items like towels. It depicts a soldier, but with a heart inside to add a touch of cuteness.
TodaOf course, we want to wear it ourselves, but we always consider whether we're truly meeting our customers' needs. Especially with clothing, we sometimes go to extremes (laughs). I think this polo shirt strikes a good balance between wearability and a bold aesthetic!

Long-Awaited Dream 2: B&G's First Solid Object is Born!
UekiI've always liked Be@rbricks, though I'm not a hardcore collector, and I used to display ones I liked in my room. Now, we've finally made our own!
TodaThis is truly, truly a long-awaited solid object!!
UekiThe base figure itself already has a highly refined form. If we added clumsy designs, it would look truly unappealing. So, we thought carefully.
TodaThe manufacturer was incredibly professional, accommodating every request, and their work ethic deeply impressed us.
UekiBecause it's such a high-quality product, there were countless options even for the smallest hand parts. Finding the ideal one among them was a truly challenging task, as we realized.
The design concept is to "dress the Be@rbrick in B&G brand wear." We added tattoo-style accents on the arms and a chunky necklace on the chest, reminiscent of last year's chain t-shirt. There's also a print on the back of the legs.
TodaAnd it's a two-in-one set of black and pink.
UekiI kept insisting on just one, but my sister wouldn't budge. In the end, I just went along with the producer's decision (laughs).
TodaHuh? But now that they're displayed together, a set of two is definitely cuter!!
UekiThat's true, but still. Following last year's studs, I feel like I heard the phrase "two-in-one" over 400 times (laughs). Now that they're packaged, I admit my sister was right.
TodaI just really wanted it that way! You can share one with a friend or partner, or use one as a charm for your phone and another for your bag, right?
UekiBuying a set and gifting one to someone is indeed a nice idea.
TodaIt has a lobster clasp on the head (with a strap for mobile phones), so you can attach it right after opening the package. You can also attach it to bags or use it as a pendant head; the lobster clasp makes it versatile. (Moving it around) Oh, doesn't this sideways pose look incredibly cute?

UekiDespite its small size, the neck, shoulders, wrists, waist, and legs are highly posable, allowing for various stances.
TodaEven without a face, it has such rich expressions; looking at it makes you want to add speech bubbles.
UekiHow about placing it by the entrance and using it as a message figure for a couple to communicate their feelings? Like turning it away and saying, "I'm in a bad mood" (laughs).
Toda...Really? (laughs) No, but you can truly enjoy it in any way you like. And we put a lot of effort into the packaging, not just the figure itself. There are various ways to store it, but I wanted to display it standing, so I chose that type, and had it designed to stand on the B&G trademark dice.
UekiYes, when you take out the figure, the backing card also has the B&G logo. We designed it with the intention that the card itself could be displayed.
TodaThe charm point isn't just the decorative pattern; we also made the tip of the nose silver. Oh, I don't know what to do. The more I look at it, the cuter it gets!!
UekiSister, you're really enthusiastic (laughs).
TodaBecause the way we enjoyed creating this was completely different from making clothes. It felt like doing a straight play after a series of musicals.
Also, the sense of accomplishment from collaborating with a major company like Be@rbrick was immense this time. The professionalism of their staff, their attitude of "Let's all create something perfect!" And we, such a small entity, were allowed to participate.
UekiUltimately, we even received their seal of approval, with the staff saying, "It's cute!"

TodaYes, it feels like B&G has grown a little more, and that makes me very happy. Those close to me who saw a sneak peek were very intrigued, and I want them to be bought by many customers soon.

I LOVE BG BE@RBRICK
A set of two black and pink Be@rbricks. We created them with the image of the bear wearing B&G's t-shirt. The neck and limb joints are movable, making them incredibly cute. They come with a strap and a small hook on the head, so they're perfect for attaching to your phone or bag! They also look great as a pair. And of course, they make wonderful gifts! The packaging is designed to stand upright for easy display.
